Some of the restaurant's creative dishes have included black bean burgers, buffalo cauliflower burgers, plantain burgers, jerk mushroom burgers, and cauliflower wings served with sweet potato fries.

From Backyard Experiment to Kingston Food Spot

Veggie Campus began as a personal food experiment by founder Brent Blair. While studying at the University of Technology, Jamaica, Blair challenged himself to see whether he could stop eating meat while still enjoying his food.

That experiment eventually developed into a business after he spent a year creating different plant-based dishes without repeating the same meal.

The concept grew from its early beginnings into a full-time food business and developed a following among people looking for flavorful plant-based meals.

More Than Just Food

The name Veggie Campus reflects the business's connection to young people and learning. Its founders have described the restaurant as a place where people can eat, have conversations, and learn more about plant-based food.

Today, the experience extends beyond simply ordering a meal. Veggie Campus also offers services such as takeout, delivery, catering, cooking classes, and private dining experiences through its current online presence.

A Kingston Food Experience

The current location at 82 Lady Musgrave Road places Veggie Campus within the Dubwise Jamaica Courtyard, where several food establishments share an outdoor space. Jamaica Observer described the courtyard as having a relaxed, colorful atmosphere surrounded by trees, creating a setting that feels removed from the busy Kingston streets.
