Overview

The Old Spanish Bridge that spans the White River was reportedly built in the 17th century before Jamaica became a British territory. It is one of the lasting indicators of Spanish colonization in the White River Valley. The historic bridge is set against the backdrop of undergrowth surrounding the aquamarine White River, which placidly pools before continuing its route downhill. There are activities such as diving, tubing, swimming, and fishing. One of the attractions at the bridge is the rope-swinging activity.
